I had the pleasure of photographing Miss K before Ike came to town. It took me longer than usual to finish her proofs. I am just now able to post her sneak peeks due to not having power or my computer for almost 2 weeks. I am so sorry it took me so long. I meet Miss L this weekend. Her and a friend met me at a swanky hotel in downtown Houston for a boudoir session. We had tons of laughs and a lot of fun. She came in all the way from louisiana and then couldnt go home because of the hurricane. I am glad she eventually made it home safe and that all was ok. I hade a blast and I hope you enjoy your sneak peeks!

Miss H came to see me yesterday. Her fiancee is being deployed in November, and she wanted to send with something to remind him of what he has waiting for him back home. She started out a little nervous, but quickly relaxed and started being her funny self. I hope you both enjoy these and I wish you fiancee and safe and quick tour abroad!

I talk to women daily who want boudoir portraits done but worry about their percieved trouble spots. "My thighs are to big, my breasts are to small or saggy, I have strech marks, I have acne, etc...". I hear it everyday. "If I looked like Jessica Alba(insert celebrity you wish you looked like here) then I would do it in a heartbeat!" Well guess what? They dont look so perfect in real life. I found this website to show you ladies what these "beautiful" people look like before and after a photographer gets a hold of them. http://www.iwanexstudio.com/ Just click on portfolio. With the right angles, lighting, and editing ANYONE can look just as glamous as these stars. I use basically the same technicniques to achive similar results. This over the top editing isnt for everyone. So if its not your cup of tea, dont worry. I can also be very conservative with your editing. During your shoot I will talk to you about what kind of look you are after. Do you want a more glamorous "Hollywood" look? Do you want a more naturual sexy look? Dont be afraid to tell me what you want.

My point to all of this rambling is, dont compare yourself to others. I can help you hide or fix any problem areas you feel you may have. So dont let that hold you back from having beautiful boudoir portraits.

So sorry it has taken me so long to get back to my poor little blog. Things have been CRAZY busy around here! I am not complaining though, because I have had a BLAST!

Mrs. A came to see me for a boudoir session last week. She was very shy and nervous, but by the end of the shoot I had her laughing and enjoying herself. She is married with 3 kids under 4 years old, so it was fun for her to do something for herself for a change. Not to mention something that reminds her of how beautiful she is.

Ok, I have decided to have yet another Grand Opening Specail!!! I cant help myself. I love these shoots so much that I cant get enough of them. Ok, so here is the 411. Any session BOOKED(not shot) in June will get your session fee for $75! Thats HALF OFF! How it will work is, you will still pay $150 to book your session. Then $75 of that will go towards your order when it is placed. How cool is that? Same rules apply as usual. All of this only applies with a signed model release. When you sign a model release, you still have a say in what images are used publicly. I want this to be a fun and enjoyable experience all the way!

WOW! I am so excited about the response I have gotten so far. I have filled all 5 model spots. They are all spread out throughout this month. So by July you should see a few new faces(bodies) on my site. Speaking of my site, I "plan" to take it live this evening. I have been working on a few last minute things for it. I still cant find music I just love, so for now it may go without it at all. Hmmm, maybe I should have a contest for who can find my music for me... Maybe I will. (hint hint hint)

Ok, I hate not having something fun going on. So the next five women to book, will get a mini accordian album(3x3) as a gift from me!

Red Shoe Boudoir is now officially open and taking bookings. The month of June is already almost completly booked. WOW I cant believe what a demand there is for boudoir photography.
