MIA
Sorry everyone for being MIA for so long! The last month has been a crazy whirlwind to say the least. I was in the hospital for a week, had surgery, had a booth at a bridal show, my daughters 14th birthday, and a conference in Vegas. Not to mention a few sessions in there too. Whew, I am tired just typing it all! Well, I am back and ready to hit the grindstone again. Christmas Bash!!! - Houston Boudoir
Seems like its been forever since I have blogged. What? Oh, it has been? Sorry, things have just been crazy busy around here. I am gearing up for the holiday season(aka holiday rush) around here. So, this blog post will be a mix of a couple of updates at once.
First thing I want to talk about is the Airport shoot. It got postponed due to several of the girls being sick or having last minute emergencies. I have been able to finally reschedule it. It took forever to find dates that worked for the girls and the airport. So its officially rescheduled for Nov 14th. I still have a couple of spots available for this shoot. Ok, now for the BIG news. Its time for the last "Boudoir Bash" of the year! Yep, this will be your last chance to get boudoir portraits to give as a gift to that special someone. 40's Pin-Up Shoot! - Houston Boudoir
Its official!!! For those of you that have been following our Facebook page you know we having been working on somethng VERY cool and different! We finally got the approval and set the date! We are going to have a "Boudoir Bash" in a old 1940's style hanger with old airplanes! I am soooo excited about this and there are many more details that I will share once you book. The Girls - Houston Boudoir Photography
Last weekend I had the pleasure of hanging out with these three beautiful women. Each of these girls is just as beautiful in person as they are in these images. We had a good time, lots of laughs were had. We used every inch of the room in our shoot. We even shot in the bathroom and the patio(with a few admirers watching!). LOL I had a great time ladies and I hope you love your sneak peeks!!! P.S. There was supposed to be a 4th lady but she is dealing with some bad morning(all day really) sickness. Poor thing! WOW! Things have been CRAZY busy around here! Between the Birthday Bash and and several other private boudoir parties I have been sooo busy. I havent posted on here in forever! Ms M - Houston Boudoir
Last weekend I had the priviledge of shooting two fun, sweet and most of all sexy women. We hung out at one of my fave boutique hotels in Houston and had a girls night. Despite a few hotel equiptment malfunctions, the evening was a success!
The first of these two ladies is Ms. M. She is such an outgoing person and just a natural in front of the camera. I hardly had to give her any direction. I had a great night and I hope you did too! Here are your sneak peeks!!!

Miss L- Boudoir Houston
I meet Miss L this weekend. Her and a friend met me at a swanky hotel in downtown Houston for a boudoir session. We had tons of laughs and a lot of fun. She came in all the way from louisiana and then couldnt go home because of the hurricane. I am glad she eventually made it home safe and that all was ok. Mrs. M- Houston Boudoir
I met up with Mrs M and two of her crazy friends this weekend. We got a late start and we went into the wee hours of the night. I didnt get home until after 2am! September Hotel Marathon Shoot!!
First of all, so so sorry I have been MIA for a bit. I have had several family emergencies and I have been trying to handle those. The good news is that I have made it through them all and can resume "normal" daily living now! So, to kick off my return to the boudoir world and all things sexy, I am hosting my very first hotel marathon shoot! The scoop- For my first marathon shoot, I pick the most kick butt boutique hotel in Houston! OMG This place is SERIOUSLY georgous. I cant reveal my secret location yet. For more info you will have to email or call. I am sooooo excited about shooting there. The rooms are divine, and there is a perfect boudoir prop in every corner. This hotel just screams SEXY! This is a one of a kind opportunity. You get to have the lavish decor and background without having to rent the room yourself. Each session is $200(only $50 more than a regular session) The date is Saturday, Septemeber 27th and 28th. I will break times into 1.5 hour sessions. I will have a makeup artist available. There will be an extra $50 fee for that service. Too book a time email me ASAP before all the times are gone. Industry Secrets...
I talk to women daily who want boudoir portraits done but worry about their percieved trouble spots. "My thighs are to big, my breasts are to small or saggy, I have strech marks, I have acne, etc...". I hear it everyday. "If I looked like Jessica Alba(insert celebrity you wish you looked like here) then I would do it in a heartbeat!" Well guess what? They dont look so perfect in real life. I found this website to show you ladies what these "beautiful" people look like before and after a photographer gets a hold of them. http://www.iwanexstudio.com/ Just click on portfolio. With the right angles, lighting, and editing ANYONE can look just as glamous as these stars. I use basically the same technicniques to achive similar results. This over the top editing isnt for everyone. So if its not your cup of tea, dont worry. I can also be very conservative with your editing. During your shoot I will talk to you about what kind of look you are after. Do you want a more glamorous "Hollywood" look? Do you want a more naturual sexy look? Dont be afraid to tell me what you want. My point to all of this rambling is, dont compare yourself to others. I can help you hide or fix any problem areas you feel you may have. Mrs. A
So sorry it has taken me so long to get back to my poor little blog. Things have been CRAZY busy around here! I am not complaining though, because I have had a BLAST! Mrs. A came to see me for a boudoir session last week. She was very shy and nervous, but by the end of the shoot I had her laughing and enjoying herself. She is married with 3 kids under 4 years old, so it was fun for her to do something for herself for a change. Not to mention something that reminds her of how beautiful she is. New Special!
Ok, I have decided to have yet another Grand Opening Specail!!! I cant help myself. I love these shoots so much that I cant get enough of them. Ok, so here is the 411. Any session BOOKED(not shot) in June will get your session fee for $75! Thats HALF OFF! How it will work is, you will still pay $150 to book your session. Then $75 of that will go towards your order when it is placed. How cool is that? Same rules apply as usual. All of this only applies with a signed model release. When you sign a model release, you still have a say in what images are used publicly. I want this to be a fun and enjoyable experience all the way! Oh, I almost forgot! All spots are filled!
WOW! I am so excited about the response I have gotten so far. I have filled all 5 model spots. They are all spread out throughout this month. So by July you should see a few new faces(bodies) on my site. Speaking of my site, I "plan" to take it live this evening. I have been working on a few last minute things for it. I still cant find music I just love, so for now it may go without it at all. Hmmm, maybe I should have a contest for who can find my music for me... Maybe I will.
